Like a new born baby
The year comes with the proverbial innocence
It comes with a wide blank page
Which can be inked with the rhymes of love
It comes with blank cheques in our lives
Contributions to humanity can fill in the pages though.
The change in a calendar is more than a numerical riddle
The infinite is conveniently confined into finites
And makes our lives easy to define in temporal terms
The advent of a new year, the turn of pages
Displays an opportunity for redefining ourselves
And wishes to recreate a world of an indivisible peace.
Let’s vow to keep this new born free from conflicts & contradictions
Drink the love’s wine, for nature and mankind,the desirable addiction.
