Wishes Unsurmountable

[Transliteration of my poem অনতিক্রান্ত অনুভবগুলো ]

I live beside an unsurmountable mountain
“May I get the strength to cross this barrier…”.
That’s my prayer amidst the stony existence.
I cannot cross this wall sailing in a small raft,
If I were a fall, I would’ve transgressed the wall
And seen the unseen through my transparent fluidily.

But I know I’m not a mountaineer like Hillary
That I could climb along the Sherpah; Nor am I
A Moses that I could catch the glimpses of God
From the Hill top, Muhammad I am not certainly
That I would come closer to the celestial lights
From the Creator, celebrating His words within me.

In the foothil , I strike my head against the mount
Stepping on the stones wishes run in chameleonic speed
Happy to see the colors change within itself time and again
My merely marginal existence pass-by in daily business
Like a mouse I run across the corn field in utter wilderness
Deceiving myself, yet looking for peace in quiet consolations.

I wish only if it were a glass mountain all through
I could see the other world in an unworldly pleasure.
