Symbols often overshadow our thoughts
And sadly we miss, the essence of the Truth
That we need to sacrifice animal instincts
Rather than the animals in reality.
Sadly, we fail to understand God’s poetry
And hence we don’t read between the lines .
We are carried away by the Imageries
Missing the wishes of God, expressed implicitly.
Let’s vow to sacrifice some coins from our pockets
Which , whisper if I may. are dearer than the animals
And help the poor and the destitute
Making this Eid more meaningful than we ever thought.
