Waiting for you my Prophet
Holding an empty bucket
For you to fill in with your blessings
That can lighten up my soul.
I know, you know my heart aches for you
And endlessly my soul will wait for you.
Your subtle presence is beyond boundaries
Of Space and of Time,
As you walk around the Garden of Heaven
Seeking mercy for earthly people
I long for your love and look for your limitless luster
For at times I seem to be lost at the labyrinth of lust.
Your heavenly light, enlightens the World here and hereafter
And Amidst the demonic darkness,
I still long for your starry presence
Which, I know, will guide me to God,
Through the lanes of your love
So, I spend my idle days and sleepless nights for a never-ending Truth.
Indeed, a truth which both right and bright
And lights up my love for you
In my dreams or in the realms of reality
Oh, Muhammad if I could reach you ever
That would complete my journey of life
The me of mine will mingle with the thee of Thine
As the lover and the beloved melt in a moonlit night
You never are out of mind, and won’t ever be out of sight
